AMP distribution is in the process of creating a database while simultaneously re-posting the materials meticulously collected over the past 15 years. The goal is to post a new album a week from one of the eight labels archived, along with other self-released and out-of-print materials from the DIY scene.

The rough count of albums with catalogue numbers from the participating labels is approximately 313.

Please be patient as the site gets up and running. And please feel free to provide feedback, report broken links or *.zip files, etc.

The first release being posted is CR001 from Cetpath Recordings. This Headphones album, even as it aproaches eleven years of age, is still as amazing to me as when I first heard it. Alien-environments, insects buzzing, machines grinding away as ghostly moans disperse amongst distorted clicks and pops. For all the musik I have ever heard claiming to be "progressive" or "forward-thinking", this easily tops it all. And the fact that the Cetapath label then released another 60 albums(!) after this just proves that whatever is in the water down in Texas scares the hell out of me. Enjoy.
